Rural Women Upliftment Association of Assam (RWUAA) is a State level Voluntary Organization (NGO) established in 1989 and Registered under SR Act XXI of 1860 vide No 3613 of 1992 working for the Welfare & Development of the Unprivileged, Downtrodden, Weakest of the weaker, Economically Backward section like schedule caste, schedule Tribes with a special Emphasis to “WOMEN EMPOWERMENT” and focal interest of “CHILDREN” in the Health & Family Welfare, Agriculture & Allied, Income generation, Human Resource Development and all Social Sectors for sighting a “SUSTAINABLE” development.

RWUAA’s vision to Facilitate strengthen the rural & disadvantaged people to be empowered by building capacity & develop their skill in respect of alternative livelihood opportunities Health and Education Support Services.

RWUAA’s Mission commitment to catalyse Socio-Economic change in Rural Scenario with a special emphasis to “Women Empowerment” and “Youth Development”.

Non Formal Education, Rehabilitation etc. for overall Socio - Economic Upliftment through different income generating Enterprises subsistence to farm family income raising the standard of living.

Scientific Seminars/ Workshop/ Awareness/ Research and Developments/Training cum Production for Self-employment, Capacity Building Survey etc..
